[TableSETTINGS] Dining in an enchanted wood (Our New Year's Eve table setting)

[TableSETTINGS]
Cenando in un boschetto incantato
(La nostra tavola del Veglione)
Buongiorno a tutti... e buon lunedi!!!

Hi everybody... and have a good monday!!!
Today I'd like to show you, at last, our New Year's Eve table of last year!!!
As I told you in May, in the post that I have re-proposed to you this friday (with a #FbF), after having esperimented my first winter landscape in a glass bowl... I woul n't have stopped anymore... I would have created thousands of them to crowd up the entire house....

After all the visits in the various garden centers looking for the tiny house I then used... I bumped into a series of tealights with a little wax house on the top in the white and brown shades which so much inspired me last year (and also this year)... unfortunately for the landscape I had to create in my glass bowl they were too little, bit I adored them!!!!So, contributing my passion for tiny things, thinking over and again, I decided to re-create a landscape in a glass bowl really much smaller... placing it in a red wine glass to use it as a winter table decoration!!!!
Here it is how my first New Year's Eve table setting was born.!!!

At that point we had only to decide table cloth and crockeries and create a centrepiece!!!!I've chosen a tablecloth taken taken at the Gran Casa's sale and accompanied to my nice cream set of plates from Maisons du Monde!!!
To stand out I've decided to use again my beloved white paper doilies... which, in my crazy fantasy should have recalled the snowflakes at least a bit, big ones for the plates and small for the glasses.!!!
My usual glasses taken with points at Esselunga, neutral steel cutleries quickly taken at Tigros (ours are all coloured), paper napkins from maisons du Monde... which were perfect for colours and for the greeting message (bonheur means happyness)... and the table was done!!!!

For the centrepiece I've decided to realize another idea which I had in mind from the previous year... I've taken a glass spherical bowl which i already had and I have just filled it up with some battery christmas lights and some fake little branches brown and white (i don't know exactly which kind of plant they reproduce, but I adore them and I have been spreading them in the house for years)..At this point I could stop... the table was perfect... in the shades I love and quite magic... but, in your opinion, could I be satisfied?

¯¯¯

Obviously not... and so... longing, as I told you, for the snow, for magical and enchanted landscapes and so on... I began filling the table with everything could remember me an enchanted little wood... including two fawns (strange enough coming from me who never liked so much the northern countries' habit of placing fake little animals all over the house at Xmas time)... used as placeholders... the male for my hubby and the female for me!!!I know that "less is more".. but I am I am made this way and there is nothing I can do... and I loved very much the landscape I created ... it was, what can I say? therapeutic!!!!
I was eating and in the meanwhile with my fantasy I was a little child in a calm and snowy wood who was playing with fawns and enchanted herself staring at lights!!!!
Buona settimana!!!!

Unfortunately images are awful... light was not good and my capability marginal!!! I hope, anyway, that you have enjoyed at least a little bit my table setting... (I certainly love it….. and that's why I kept it like that for two days... also because i was feeling too sorry to undo it) and that it could have given you some inspiration for next holidays decorations!!!
We will be back on wednesday with a post which will talk about the beautyful swedish tradition about the Advent Calendabrum!!!
Have a nice week!!!!
